I had such a fun morning with these guys! First, I love the name Raleigh. Kim and Brad are such cool parents, 100% laid back. We hit it off right away talking about New Zealand, I think by the end of the conversation we all wished we were there! Raleigh is such a handsome boy and did great during our photo shoot, regardless of how how many changes of clothes we make him do!

Bridgette is truly awesome...for many reasons. Here are a few: she has been helping me in the office and is a total rock star. She does anything and everything! Bridgette is beautiful. She is going to be a great mama. She let me take about a million photos of her (and we are going to do more!) Here is a sneak peek of our latest session-

It was the perfect day...great weather, beautiful bride and groom (on the inside and out), plenty of time to take photos and a fun group of people! Erin loved my work, we spoke on the phone and then she booked me from Washington. I was truly looking forward to this wedding, I immediately clicked with Erin & Cody when we met for their engagement session. Erin is a photographer plus they both love taking pics AND they are both fantastic in front of the camera...match made in heaven! They had plenty of details on their day, from the homemade wild blackberry jam (yummy) and a tree for everyone to plant because they love nature. I also got to share the day with Alice, from Lens Flair Video who is truly gifted and Beth and Kort who played beautiful music which did make me get teary...






Cody learned a new knot tie for the wedding that took him maybe one or two tries!








The flowers were amazing...Erin's bouquet had huge orchids that I have never seen before and it smelled wonderful...

My last photo shoot was an adventure! We thought the storm was moving the other direction but we were wrong...so we waited, ran out, took photos, ducked back in, ran back out and so on! Ethan is such a cutie pie, Mom & Dad just love him to pieces...regardless of the crazy Colorado weather, we did get some fantastic photos! Thank you for being patient :)

I honestly think I have never seen Red Rocks look so beautiful and green... plus I was photographing a good looking couple-I was in heaven! Tracy and Kent were a ton of fun, and they were up for anything. When I asked Tracy to climb all over the rocks in heels...she was game! We ended by heading to The Morrison Inn, the best spot for a margarita or a Pink Cadillac :) We found out that we all LOVE Halloween and talked about some of our past outfits. I have to say, they have had some excellent costumes! I can't wait for August 9th, to document their wedding.

It was so much fun shooting back in Nebraska. Alissa and Taryl are getting married this Fall, and I am very excited to document it! Our morning was perfect-calm with just a sprinkle of rain. I loved how in the beginning, Taryl was a bit shy and then he warmed right up...I found out he also has a twin, and I hope I don't get any tricks played on me at their wedding....did I just give them ideas?!? I think my favorite time was downtown when Alissa was in her fantastic dress and heels-she is gorgeous! See you in the Fall-

It was so awesome to meet little Mia! I photographed Erica and Zanders wedding and it literally seems like yesterday. I kind of had this moment in the middle of the photo shoot of remembering that, and how they are now a family. I have to admit, I got a bit teary...in a good way! Mia was such a good baby the entire time...and it was exicting when she sprung a leek towards the end while in the nude!

I truly loved working with Ann Marie and her daughter Megan. Megan can hardly wait to have her brother arrive! She is all over her Mom's beautiful belly. Megan is full of adventure and big smiles...Ann Marie is a beautiful person-inside and out. Thanks for the great time together!

What a lovely pair to work with! They are both so excited to be parents. They are expecting a little girl, Bella. I can't wait to meet her....Happy Mothers Day!

I have been working on a personal photography project over the past several months called Faces of Louisville. Every single person photographed is a part of Louisville-big or small they all count. It has been amazing getting to know everyone-from John (you may recognize him riding his bike and cleaning up Louisville), the mayor Charles Sisk and many others.

I truly did not realize how much of an impact this project would have on ME. I love Louisville, but more than that, I love the people in Louisville. This project is all about embracing our community.
